Two Scarves
So, before I stopped posting, I wrote about a scarf that I planned to applique, and a skein of yarn that had yet to be made into something.
In addition to looking like a tree branch, I like that it kind of looks like bronchioles, too. I like lungs as a motif, and every once in a while I see something really neat and lung related on etsy.
This was a custom pin made for me by the incomparable Tilly Bloom. I have a rib cage pin by her, too, and they are really fantastic quality and make me happy to wear.
This was made from Malabrigo Worsted during a 18 hour bus ride to Edmonton during the last weekend of October last year. It was a seriously good idea to take it along with me, because I was totally not used to cold, dry weather. (I’ve always lived near the coast and have been to places with a dry climate very infrequently.) On the way home, it was a little luxury to keep me cozy on the Greyhound.
