Finally, the Sweater Vest is DONE!
As promised, here are pics of the finished sweater vest. I had to make do with an auto-timer in my somewhat dimly lit bedroom, but here goes:
Overall, I’m pretty pleased with it. The back could have been wider, with smaller arm openings, but that’s small peanuts. I like the nearly-racerback shaping. I think it would look spiffy with my black and dark red pinstriped blouse. Of course, that’s a long time from now because that blouse has long sleeves and this vest is warmer than such fine yarn has a right to be. Okay, so the yarn isn’t that thin (fingering weight), but I wasn’t expecting it to be so good at keeping heat close to my body.
So, on to the next project, and this sweater gets to enjoy a nice vacation in my dresser until around October.
