Making Things
I admit, I’m bad at this blogging thing. I’m self-conscious of the things I make, always second guessing: Is this good enough to share? Why isn’t it as nice as the other things I see online? I wish I was better at photography! This isn’t my authentic voice! and so on.
I kind of lost why I like to make things. I enjoy the process, and I enjoy doing it for me. I don’t need to sell myself or try to monetize my time. I want to start sharing more, all of the imperfect things I make for the joy of making them, starting with making one small thing a week and posting a photo.
Another round of Wardrobe Refashion has started, and I’ve signed up for two months. This is probably the last round I’ll be able to get in on before it goes to a for-pay model, and it’s an excuse to make myself make things (and clean my closet).
