Triangle Scarf
Finally finished the triangle scarf - although it is more between a shawlette and shawl size after growing considerably after wet blocking. See how long it is? (Also, check out that yellow post-it note near the ceiling. It was left when we moved in, and says “Look Up Here.” There is nothing there, yet the post-it stays.)
It got a lot softer, and smells nice too, thanks to Soak. I don’t normally like floral scented stuff, but the Floral Soak is subtle, a bit like geraniums or carnations.
The pattern is the Leftovers Crocheted Triangle Scarf by Hyke Groen - available free on Ravelry. It’s quite a simple pattern, rather like a giant half granny square. The chart is easy to read, and it repeats the same row after the seventh row so it can grow as large as you’d like. All in all, I’m pleased with mine. It’s just the right size to go over my shoulders and only took one large skein of sock yarn.
