Thrift finds
A couple of things I found at the thrift store yesterday:
I love the chrysanthemums on it.
Several metres of this trim. Blue and orange is one of my favourite colour combinations.
This funny toy whale, that Joe has named for the Twitter Fail Whale, mostly because it looks like the unholy, yet charming full-of-fail pairing of a whale and a child’s drawing of a fish. (And in his words, would never be able to swim because it is too flat and the tail is the wrong shape. “It would just sink and flop around at the bottom of the ocean.”) It looks handmade from some sort of printed fabric cutout, and along with the colours, is what drew me to it. Love the green, and those pink stripes on the fins!
