Twee Bedsheet!
(I’m going to be posting older pictures and stuff ocassionally, because I’d like to have a central place to keep my craft musings.)
I thrifted this back in April (only $1!), because I loved the tree motif. I was thinking maybe I could make one of those kids’ bedsheet dresses or skirts I keep seeing on craft sites. I abandoned that idea when I realized to pull it off, you have to either be a chubby pinup type or look like Kirsten Dunst or Maggie Gyllenhall. I’d look like a fat kid in a bedsheet (not that there’s anything wrong with fat kids in bedsheets, but I already look like that when I wake up in the morning!) This will probably become pillowcases or if I feel a little daring, the lining for a red or blue wrap skirt. It’s cute and nostalgic, and sometimes I just like to look at it and try to figure out what it wants to be made into.
